2026-07-16 -- Diagnosing a wedged Chrome DevTools socket with a raw WebSocket probe — A raw WebSocket probe separates a wedged browser from a broken CDP client when every command times out.

shell

2026-07-16 -- grep -c exits non-zero on zero matches — grep -c prints 0 and exits 1 when nothing matches, so a || fallback silently corrupts the count.
